Game Meat

Game Meat Evening

December 05

We are lucky to have a fantastic head chef who is not afraid of game meat. You have been spoiled with his special choices such as venison, mallard, partridge etc & we will go a step further in delighting your taste buds with a game evening on the 5th of December starting at 7.30pm.

‘Game’ is the word used to describe animals and birds that are traditionally hunted for food instead of raised on a farm.

Typically, it falls into two categories: ‘feathered’ or ‘furred’. Feathered game or game birds include grouse, pheasant, partridge, quail, snipe, wild duck, woodcock and wood pigeon. Furred game includes hare, rabbit, venison and ‘wild’ boar.

The taste of Sardinia in Dublin

Serata Sarda / An evening from Sardinia

November 14

From the series of food & wine regions of Italy we are happy to delight you with artisanal & typical Sardinian food.

Among all the Italian regions, Sardinia undoubtedly boasts one of the strongest gastronomic identities, thanks in part to its island geography and convenient separation from mainland influence, but also due to its great attachment to tradition and history.

Typical Sardinian food is loved by both Italians and non-Italians alike, with a few specialities being successfully exported further afield, most notably Sardinian cheese. The region boasts the largest production of sheep cheeses in Europe, thanks to the large presence of indigenous sheep (a native breed) and their milk.

However, it’s not just pecorino you’ll find in Sardinia … join us & discover their food world!
